This FdA programme equips you with the professional skills and academic knowledge to thrive in the global service industry, while keeping your learning practical, project-based and employment-focused.

Academic Skills for Success
You’ll build academic confidence through research skills, digital literacy and reflective practice. This module runs across the year to provide continuous support.
Year 2 (Level 5): Applied Strategy and Leadership
In your second year, you will engage with a one-week Successful Transitions Toolkit, a focused programme that supports your progression to Level 5 and helps consolidate your learning from Year 1. In year 2, you’ll apply critical thinking to real-world business issues, explore event experience design and refine your professional judgement.
Leading and Managing Real-World Businesses
You’ll develop insights into leadership, organisational culture, crisis management, and team performance.
Event Design and Experience Creation
In this module you’ll discover how to develop events from concept to delivery, using sensory and audience-centric design.
Strategy and Decision-Making for Hospitality Businesses
